If I could buy time

As a lover saves the life of a beloved so would nature save the land from the scorching bites of the sun. The heart has an assembly of souring emotions, mine is certainly not an exception.

If I could buy time, I could have skillfully kicked out all the thorns on the pathway of my destiny. I would have never been struck by the sliding arrows of heart break and afflictions. Perhaps, my entire life would have been as beautiful as the garden of Eden. I would have wiped clean all the tears of my beloved with the white handkerchief of happiness.

Though I could not bribe time with all the shekels abound on earth, I have judiciously become content with time`s principles, I no longer live a life of regrets but that of fulfillment. I have learnt from the mistakes of the past. My heart now loves unconditionally and forgives without a dent of wild anger.
