If I were..........

If I were a tree, I would have boldly shielded you from the sun rays of mortal afflictions. If I were a blanket, I would have gladly volunteered to protect you from the cold hands of sadness.

If I were a coat, I would have given you the fitting of an executive chairman of a media conglomerate
just to paint your pretty visage with beautiful smiles.
